HR Deserves A Better Reputation

Hello, my name is Pamela Flowers. I am very glad you have found my website focused on HR. I have always felt that HR departments get a bad reputation. There are some HR departments that make life difficult for the workforce, but this doesn't have to be the case. I have stayed abreast on the changing world of HR and it is really amazing how some HR departments are training employees and the creative ways that they recognize the achievements of these employees. So in defense of HR, I have decided to create a blog that covers all the great work they often do.

New To RVing? Here's 4 Things You Shouldn't Go Without

Business Blog

Traveling around by recreational vehicle is commonly referred to as RVing, and it's become extremely popular. In fact, approximately 25 million Americans were expected to travel by RV in the spring and summer of 2019. Some of the reasons RVing has become so popular is because it's a fun way for families to travel together and it offers a great way to explore the great outdoors. Traveling by RV also cuts out hotel expenses, which makes it a cost-effective way to vacation. If you are new to RVing, you may think it's as simple as hopping in your RV and hitting the road. There are some things you'll need first.

Here are four things you shouldn't go without.

1. Roof Sealant

Just like the roof of your home protects you from the elements, so does the roof of your RV. Also, just like your roof can sustain water damage, your RV can too. For these reasons, it's important to apply an RV roof waterproofing sealant on your RV. Besides protecting your roof, preventing water damage will also prevent the value of your RV from decreasing.

2. Leveling Blocks

If your RV doesn't have hydraulic levelers, you will need to use leveling blocks. This is so that you can keep your RV as level as possible while camping. Keeping your RV in a horizontal position will make it more comfortable, and much easier to do things like walk, cook, and sleep when you're inside the RV.

3. Hoses

If you plan on doing a variety of activities when taking your RV out on the road, you're going to need a variety of hoses in order to do them. These hoses will allow you to do things like go to the bathroom, have access to clean water, and use propane. Some common RV hoses that you'll need include:

  • Water hose
  • Propane hose
  • Sewer hose
  • Flushing hose
  • Exterior shower hose

If you bought a used RV, you may want to consider replacing these hoses before you use it.

4. RV Toilet Chemicals

One of the greatest advantages of traveling by RV is the ability to use the bathroom wherever you go. These chemicals will not only keep your tiny bathroom smelling nice; they will do the important job of breaking down solid wastes in your holding tank.

While you're picking up RV toilet chemicals, you may also want to get a pack of RV-friendly toilet paper, which dissolves more quickly than regular toilet paper.
